That face at 7:37 is Epic

Yes. But you can still see the some of the difference.

Soo you showing us what 48 fps looks like in youtube with 30 max fps playback ? I could see a diffrence between 24 and 30. If you know what i mean……..
Exactly … the difference we’re seeing is in the shutter.

Everyone is in title of their own opinion.
Apologies If I hurt yours, but in a fast pace world and cost efficiency. My clients pay me enough to shift my kit and get lighter, sealed, able to be practical and I still have time to have fun on my trips..:)
I do Appreciate your concern.

i watched the hobbit in 48fps 3D and it’s the most amazing visual experience i’ve had

I am pretty sure if you listened correctly, he was comparind, because it was suggested, as well was mainly referring to Film instances. NOT youtube.

I fucking hate the ads on this channel.

48 fps looks *great* in the cinema

same here

Not even in the same league. The 1Dc is an overpriced 1Dx with a heat sink and forcing you to shoot into Motion JPEG, for double the cost of the 1Dx. No thanks.

I might just sell my house to get that red epic!

What song is used during the slomotion section? I like the catchy tune

Hey, not to be a douche, but I just want to get some feed back on my sort of a psychological short film, be sure to check it out. ;> thanks

It wasn’t pointless. The point was: at 48fps there is less Motion Blur.

1Dc is right behind y’all and easy workflow and lighter with higher ISO…;0)

To you guys commenting that other cameras can do more than 48 fps, comparing them to the Epic….did you catch the part about it being able to shoot at higher speeds, including the 300 fps at the end? Seen the Hobbit in theaters in all of its glory and the Epic looked pretty good.

They were only comparing the frame rate the footage was shot at, not what it’s uploaded at, because it doesn’t matter what you do to footage in post, the “look” of the frame rate you shot at will stay the same, you can’t actually change the frame rate. The camera takes 30 stills in 1 seconds, there’s no way you can change that in post.

Placed an order on Red.com today, it was pretty epic! Alongside as zeiss.com.

not exactly being serious here but would the RED epic footage work on iMovie? Or do you need $?00000 video editing software to support it?
