Death Valley The following pictures
were taken during a January camping trip at Furnace Creek campground in 2007.
While day trips are possible during the summer months, the overnight camping
season goes from October to the middle of April. After that, nighttime teperatures
hover around 80 degrees, while daytime temperatures often soar above 120 degrees.
Of course, there's always Furnace Creek Resort, where the "date palms"
picture was taken for summer accomodations.
