  1. Hello, have you heard of “photo SFX art” (just search on Google for it …)? There you can watch a nice free video demonstrating how you can make fantastic photographs. It made it easier for Matt to make photographs which have a wow-effect after you take a look at them. I hope it works for you too…

  6. It is ok for movies but for the slow motion stuff I suspect you are after, the resolution is very very low and fuzzy.

  7. The camera is around 300+ pound online. 400 in Tesco. The Nikon d3100 with 18-55 VR kit lens and crop sensor is 300 on Amazon and will give you a picture that the hs30 could only dream of. I had the hs30 but found it to be terrible at landscapes & portraits. It has a massive zoom, the picture quality is even worse as you zoom out. Very noisy and unacceptable chromatic aberration. It is styled as a DSLR and is the same size. Why limit yourself. Features amuse for 5 mins. Never to be used again.

Well this is not a DSLR, nor should you expect DSLR quality from this camera, This is a camera for someone who wants a digital camera that has a wide range of features, a long zoom and manual controls, but is not willing to pay for a DSLR and thus does not expect to get the quality of a DSLR when this camera costs about half as much as a DSLR.

  9. Takes terrible photos compared to a entry level DSLR. I have both. No contest compared to a canon 1000d. Image quility is miles apart. Think carefully before buying. Good for a point and shoot, but thats where it ends.
