If your under the ONE year under warranty they will send you a New System without this (err) Problem. If you past the one year Warranty. you can only send the unit out for repair that will Cost you more than the Unit is worth!!!! (Thats BullShlt Epson Sucks I’ll Never Ever Buy From Epson Again) also you cant refill any Epson ink at and Office Max or any other Big Named Store. E-Mail Me *

Can you print on canvas roll or canvas paper with this? If so, at white sizes? I am new to this inkjet wide format printer thing but I want to start canvas printing my art and photos and don’t mind paying for a quality product I just want to get the right one.

  9. Sorry, I have today finally had enough of the Epson scam. The printers suck ink, cost a fortune to re-ink, barely have any ink in the cartridge, and need to be cleaned if they aren’t used every day. Not simply whining, it’s taken me ten years to get to this point. Loved them for their connectivity and Mac-sweetness, but the price is too high. I’m getting a basic laser printer.

  11. I have this printer. I used to own a photolab and this printer does an amazing job. I order ink straight from Epson its about 15 bucks a cartridge sometimes with free shipping. Its not good for printing regular paper unless you switch to the matte black ink. This is for printing pro photos not invoices or word documents.

  12. Well hp is 20% minimum in each or it won’t print.

Canon ink cost more than epson, and theirs no real difference.

Thats why Epson is #1 in the world of printing photos.

  14. I’ve had this printer for over a year, and its prints are awesome. Its great if you’re printing volume is low, as the ink is only rated for 6 months after opening. If you’re looking to print more for sales of print from a photographer level, then its more econimcal to step up to the soon to be released Epson 3880. But to be honest, the images from this printer are so awesome … you’ll end up printing more than you need. I don’t mind spending the money on ink for photos that look amazing.

  17. Hey, Its not a cheap printer but it does the best prints, if your going to be spending good coin on this then the price of the ink should not matter, if you take shit photos and you cant sell them – then don’t buy this, BUT if you take a great photo and are serious? You wont look back – I Love This!
