Cinder Cone Joshua
A picture of a Joshua Tree, the symbolic icon of the Mojave Desert, standing
in the Cinder Cone Lava Beds in the Mojave National Preserve in Southern California.
This area was set aside by the California Desert Protection Act co-authored
by senators Dianne Fienstien and Alan Cranston in the early 1990's.
