We came to shoot the spectacular Spring bloom. The campgrounds were pretty full, even on a Tuesday. We came on Ryan almost by accident. There are only 30 sites of which we occupied number 1 right at the entrance. This was one of the most beautiful campsites we've ever stayed at. There's a beautiful 360 of the whole upper edge of the park. If you plan to go, bring water as there is none at the campsite. Look for John's new Joshua Tree pictures in a couple weeks on the main site.

If you look closely at the rock outcropping, you can see the adobe remains of the old Ryan Ranch from the campground. John got some great pictures of this little piece of old west history.
